The Plant Company

The Plant Company had a desire to build a state-of-the-art 5-acre greenhouse in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Besides the greenhouse, the client wanted a daylight-free and completely controlled environment for rooting the plants.

Complete greenhouse integration

In cooperation with Prins USA, Green Simplicity, HT Verboom, and Voshol , Stolze has realized a complete, advanced solution.

Together with our GreenV partners, we were able to make a significant contribution to the climate of the greenhouse, in the rooting chamber and the integration of all electrics, irrigation, automation and grow light. Our participation included:

• Supply and integration of electrics and controls via Hoogendoorn computer (IIVO). 
• Installation of a dimmable and channel-controlled LED grow light installation. 
• Integration of sensors, vents, screens, fans, heating pumps, misting systems and water technology. 
• Automation of the greenhouse and the rooting chamber, with the latter running on its own computer for autonomous control.
• Integration of the Hortitrack system for controlling HT Verboom’s spray booms and climate computer, allowing for targeted irrigation, fertigation and crop control.

Thanks to the solutions of Stolze and its GreenV partners, The Plant Company has realized a high-tech greenhouse that creates optimal growing conditions.
